We are going to miss our beloved Flaco so much. It is impossible to describe how much joy he gave us. This picture is from exactly a year ago when he was exploring the North Woods. Rest in Peace dearest Flaco ๐๐๐

Paul, thank you for inviting us to your roof last Friday to photograph and visit Flaco. It meant so much to me then and it means the world to me now.๐๐ฆ

Itโs gut wrenching to know heโs gone, but we can all rejoice in the fact that he at least had one glorious year to explore a world so much bigger than a 12โ x 12โ cage.

I just found out about Flaco a few months ago, but as a bird lover here in the heartland, I was immediately drawn to him and his story of escape from the zoo. I too am saddened that his sweet life on the lam has been cut short. Iโll miss the community that we who loved him shared

What a wondrous & brilliant photo. So new to freedom you can almost see Flaco pondering his next move. Such a magnificent fellow. How his presence brought humans & their love of him together.
I do believe that animals make us better humans.
Fly forever free Flaco! โค
