have just unanimously approved the first ever Nottinghamshire Day, taking place on the 25 August.
The day will provide a great opportunity to celebrate all that is good about our amazing county.

We will be working with partners and sharing lots of videos and stories across our social media channels on the day, including tales from residents and communities about what you love about living in Nottinghamshire.

The Nottinghamshire flag (as designed in a competition led by

) will also be proudly flying outside the Houses of Parliament on the day, with a flag raising event also taking place at County Hall.
