@Noone86595893 DeSantis did run a horrible campaign, he wasn’t making nearly enough media appearances and so few knew his policies. Trump is able to ride off his existing base, so his performance is less relevant, for better or worse.

@Noone86595893 To be fair, DeSantis did make a fair number of mistakes. The first one being that he never should have outsourced messaging to a PAC - let alone one led by Jeff Roe and Generra Peck.

@Noone86595893 DeSantis ran a great traditional campaign. Problem is that's not as effective anymore. He needed to talk to anyone who'd have him like RFK Jr. & Vivek have. I still believe if he'd done some casual podcasts it would've helped in terms of people thinking he's not charismatic.

@Noone86595893 I was pulling for DeSantis, but it was obvious that the country had no appetite for his brand of conservatism. It's too radical for the rest of the country He also had very fair treatment by CNN who seemed to have him on every other week towards the end of his run

@Noone86595893 He visited all 99 counties and then lost EVERY SINGLE ONE. How is that even possible? That is a feat that is unheard of and actually very difficult to do. Add to that, the fact that, at the first sign of adversity, he tucked his tail between his legs and ran home. Great campaign.
