I’ve never seen Michael Cole look so uncomfortable on commentary as he did at that moment. I’ve also never seen McAfee as silent and low energy as he was at that moment. They both knew the statement was nothing but lies. They both know this is completely wrong.

Also it was mad weird they did this announcement right BEFORE the unification match. Luckily the match delivered, but still it was awkward.
They should have done this at the top of the show.

What did they lie about? Same thing happen with Stone Cold he walked out on the company and Steve admitted that he was wrong for doing it and cost him millions

I can see he was uncomfortable doing this but he's a professional and he has to do what he's told but that doesn't mean he has to like it.
