Thanks to everyone involved in setting up our Covid-19 Ward at Cameron Hospital. 30 beds were delivered, offloaded and assembled in the reassigned Letham Ward in a 5 hour process bringing together porters, estates, delivery drivers, and the loan of a forklift truck from Diageo.

💬"The biggest donation I've received." Thanks to family & friends of Joyce Greig who raised £11,000 to improve the patient experience on Ward 51. Amongst the purchases were two VR headsets enabling patients- often cared for palliatively -to travel the world without leaving bed.

🗣️"The children loved moving around and getting involved with bandaging, observations, getting ready for theatre." 36 youngsters made the journey to the Vic today to dress up in modern nursing uniform and learn more about the modern nurse, midwife and AHP.

A busy morning as we welcome our latest Junior Doctors 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ Over 100 new arrivals made their way to KDY for induction. In total, around 160 trainee doctors will begin a new grade today from FY1 (brand new) to ST7 (soon to be Consultant). Welcome on board folks! 👍❤️

It's been a very Scottish send off for Dr Schwanny at Queen Margaret Hospital. Dr Schwanny has been working as Anaesthetist in Fife for the last three years but leaves us to return home to Iraq. The theatres team presented him with a series of gifts to celebrate his time in Fife
