We would like to advise boaters and property owners on the Mactaquac headpond that the water level may be lowered by approximately 2 feet in the coming days as we prepare for a significant rain event that is being forecasted for Friday or Saturday.

@NB_Power @Gov_NB So you can do this in the summer and interrupt power production but cannot help prevent flooding in the spring by spilling water in advance to help reduce risk of flooding?
