Today I heard a grown ass attending talk about how there’s a new brand of fentanyl that if you touch it you die and I’m now certain that there are many attendings getting their medical info from Fox News.

I had an attending once who told a Muslim vegetarian woman that she cannot be vegetarian because she’s Muslim and all of them eat “maas-macchi” (meat) because it’s in their blood and I’ve never had a more profound understanding of how broken medicine is.

I’ve heard this and much worse in the surgeons lounge 😫 it’s wild to hear some of the stuff that board certified doctors believe & confidently say out loud 😭
