Nah, he didn’t have the right people. All of my closets friends listen to me talk about astrology and human design ALL. DAY. those long phone calls contributed to lots of success, and it’s still true now.

It’s rare that your friends and family are your true market and audience.
Some of them may support you, but most of your success will come from strangers and people who’ve never met you.
@MsssKayyy
I agree with this. But I do think that your friends can support you and cheer you on, especially when you’re feeling self doubt or frustration.

Grateful all my homies support my music and pull up to my shows singing along and shit 💚💯 so blessed fr
Took me a long time to find a solid tribe tho
@MsssKayyy
It’s a strange relationship dynamic when you have recordings that people like to listen to and have “friends “ . Really you only get to have your family. Business partners. And maybe mob/gang ties. You may be “friends” with those people though but ain’t no friends ain’t this shit
@MsssKayyy
Bc they not. People also forget that your friends can better support you as a PERSON. It’s a blessing if they are. But the world is bigger than them and it would behoove artists to look there
