Outer Wilds is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S! These ports use next-gen tech to allow spacefaring at 4k 60fps.
Though these consoles are new and shiny, we promise the ship is still held together with good ol’ duct tape and tree sap.

Sort of! The physics simulation runs at 60 fps, so even uncapped, it still looks like 60 fps. But you can set a higher max FPS by adjusting some settings. Details on our support page here:
We’ve been overdue for an update about Switch! It’s a heavy undertaking, and well, you know how time dilation gets around dense gravitational fields. Rest assured it’s still being worked on, and we’ll let you know when we have something exciting to share.

Hmm, would you mind checking your input bindings in the options? You could also try rebinding your controllers, as sometimes that fixes odd controller behavior.

I've been playing the PS5 version for the past few hours, but unfortunately there are very significant FPS drops (at least in the starting area) to the point of annoyance. I assume it's running at 4k, but I wish I could change it to 1080p with actual stable 60 fps.
