I saw this beauty over on the Bookface. This is how I responded and there’s been silence on the post ever since.
“It’s funny if you don’t have knowledge of how a heat pump in a Tesla works. My Tesla has a 396 mile range. I wouldn’t be concerned at all in this traffic. The only…

The only problem with teslas is that they are not good looking cars. If they looked like a new mustang or something like that they would be waaaaaay more popular

What’s the coldest day of the year where you live? Let’s make it “happy heat pump in my Tesla day”!
ICE cars are so inefficient they have to throw away excess engine combustion heat year round. In summer it’s like running the AC and furnace at the same time.

OR would you rather be stuck in a gasoline vehicle, with your exhaust pipes clogging up with snow/ice causing you to slowly die from carbon dioxide poisoning 🤔
@MissJilianne
Camped before in cold weather, and it uses about 1% an hour. Telabjorn has camped in 30 below in Norway and been fine, although he did insulate the car windows for overnight camping. I'd rather be in an electric car than a gas car where I might be killed by carbon monoxide
@MissJilianne
I've gotten stuck in a massive traffic jam during an ice storm and came dangerously close to running out of gas in <20-degree temps. It was geniunely life threatening and scary!
I would think the EV is better in such a situation because it's not wasting fuel "idling"... it's…
@MissJilianne
This is true! last year i remember a tesla was stuck in traffic for 18 hours in a snow storm and they were good!🙌🏻 did not run out of battery🙏
