@Midwesternnerd5 Maybe if they didn’t announce Josh Kestin’s return, a man who is famous for voicing Spider-Man, at a time that Invincible theoretically would meet Spider-Man, people wouldn’t have gotten their hopes up.

@blakejones19999 EXACTLY, my problem with this whole mess, I don't mind the pseudo spidey, I'm just saying if they didn't hype it up like they didn't maybe the reception wouldn't have been so bad

@Midwesternnerd5 The person running the social media account is not involved with the production of the show on any level, and probably hasn't seen the episodes until they release like the rest of us so they don't accidentally spoil things. I think everyone's reading too much into this.

@GodzillaMendoza I don't blame them at all, its just, its been like a whole day and I'm already tried of seeing "ugh, why didn't they just skip the cameo at all" posts or "agent spider sucks, they should have used spider-man" videos, I'm just thinking of ways this could have been prevented

@CSantiago1001 you make a good argument my friend, but I wish we were in the timeline we didn't get a tease, maybe then then the outrage would have been less than the outrage we gotten

@Midwesternnerd5 This show is for adults, and I think the producers expect adults to understand how IPs and budgets work by this point.

@Midwesternnerd5 I can't believe this caused such a outrage. They teased Spider-man, we got Spider-man. Sure, they couldn't get the rights so they had to make some sacrifices At the end of the day, just use your head-canon. We got spectacular Spider-man in my eyes, and I was very happy with it

@Midwesternnerd5 For the hidden cover specifically, since that was in like, the teaser trailer that came out way before the actual season did, I'm willing to bet they put that in there because at the time it was looking like they were going to be able to do it, but then it fell through later on
