I've had a few people DM me on what the new contracts from @RTFKTstudios are saying, how many MNLTHs there are, what evolution looks like, etc. In short, most of that information is not possible to be determined yet, but here's a more comprehensive review of what we can see:

MNLTH 2 Starting with the easy one, MNLTH 2 contract is nearly identical to MNLTH 1. Really the only difference is that instead of an airdrop function, there's a mint function that is part of the MNLTH 1 burn. We should also expect more questing based on the metadata

MNLTH 2 There's nothing in the code that indicates how many more MNLTHs there are. Based on the "lore" so far, it's not inconceivable to think we keep getting MNLTHs with each open, but that is speculation. Also heard people saying there's 4 MNLTHs, no idea where that came from

MNLTH 2 Last point on this is the contract is called "MNLTHBIS" which is interesting naming. The only BIS I am aware of is in the gaming context "best in slot" meaning the best piece of gear for a particular item slot, but I don't know if that's relevant here 😂

Cryptokicks As we already know, there's a "mintTransfer" function which will reveal your MNLTH 1 for a MNLTH 2, Cryptokick/dunk, and a skin vial. There's also functions to equip and unequip skins to your dunks

The metadata URL is mnlthassets[.]rtfkt[.]com/dunks/ - this could be inferred (speculation) to assume there will be more mnlthassets that will have their own URL path (i.e. /dunks/, /jordan1s/, etc.)

Cryptokicks When you equip your skin, you are burning your skin vial. The data is stored in the contract to remember what skin vial ID you burned as when you unequip, that same skin vial is re-minted.

Cryptokicks It looks like only one vial contract can be used with the dunks at a time. So if you are not the skin vial contract only, you can not equip/unequip skins to the cryptokicks (this address could be changed to a different address). More info on this in the vial section

Cryptokicks One nice feature is a metadata lock. At some point RTFKT can lock the contract permanently to prevent the metadata URL from ever being changed again. This is a good "anti-rug" feature that will eventually make sure our NFT metadata is permanent

Skin vials The skin vial contract has the most interesting information that could allude to future plans. To start, there's again a mint function, as well as functions to equip and unequip skin vials.

Skin vials Only an authorized contract can mint or equip/unequip skins. One interesting note is a mapping data structure is used to store authorized contracts which allows for an unlimited amount of authorized contracts as opposed to storing a single contract value.

Skin vials This means there are likely future plans to allow several contracts to interact with skin vials. The only right now is the cryptokicks contract. When equipping a skin, a contract address is passed in to equip it to which could mean the vial could apply multiple items

Skin vials This is different from the cryptokicks which only allows 1 contract address. It seems the vials can be versatile and be used on multiple base items. There's also seemingly no hard limit on vials, so it's possible more are minted to the same contract in the future

Skin vials At this first glance, it seems the vials are actually more versatile, but the plan could be to mint future skins to the same vial contract which could also make the dunks versatile past the 8 DNA skins as well.

Skin vials The main question mark to me is in the vial contract they call out dunkId when equipping skins which is a fairly specific variable name. But I have to speculate it's more versatile than just dunks based on the mapping of authorized contracts and how generic it is

Skin vials I've seen some questions about evolution and which piece evolves. Based on the metadata, the skin vials are what is evolvable and the dunk itself does not evolve.

Skin creation Based on these required authorizations, I don't anticipate RTFKT allowing just anyone to create skins at this point in time. There could be a process to get approved and then get added to an authorized contract which seems feasible based on current contracts

Summary We don't really know anything definitively, but can definitely infer future plans based on the contracts. They are for the most part written generically so that means there's lot of future options which is exciting
