There appears to be a divide-and-conquer campaign in the
#Dogecoin
community and among core developers. This is an attack; now is not the time for diplomacy. Remember: Do only good every day. Those advocating for Dogecoin to switch to proof of stake should be disregarded.
@MartinSeeger2
Which core developers?
Why should any technical discussion be dismissed out of hand?
(NB: I welcome any good faith technical proposal that we can evaluate in public on its merits)
@MartinSeeger2
Truth is that barely core-devs are involved in this.
The Foundation has one core-dev, which is michi, that is what they were using the whole time to gain momentum by claiming that they represent dogecoin-core, they do not.
@MartinSeeger2
I'm open to any idea even Proof- of-Stake
I like the technical concept and what improvements can bring to the Blockchain and yes, my concerns are centralization and control, but there is already protocols on Proof-Of-Stake to improve that and I'm sure more will be engineered
@MartinSeeger2
The security infrastructure that doge has is beyond what any 100 memetokens could build. It's beyond what most vc chains could, except they don't even want to b/c they lust after the ability to control their chains w/ proof of 💩
mindboggling for any1 to propose abandoning that.
