We have to learn to live with this virus, and get on with life. The higher a country’s vaccination rate, the lower the adverse socio-economic implications of waves/spikes, which are likely to continue.
It is as simple as that.
@Marladukharan
Yes, living with a respiratory disease means we have to rethink our physical spaces and policies. Open street initiatives, giving people space, while encouraging active travel. Lots of examples like NYC, Paris, London etc . Just have to stop the ole talk and do the work!
@Marladukharan
Ask detractors to clearly prescribe an alternative path. Unless they remain in Covid denial, there will be none. Because there is no other way out.
@Marladukharan
"It could all be so simple, but you rather make it hard" ~Lauryn hill (Ex-Factor). Persons with no legitimate or reasonable excuse not to get vaccinated, or in other words, people who playing they're more scientist than the actual scientists themselves are the problem.
@Marladukharan
Isn’t it simpler than that? The better able country is to remain healthy, lower the likely adverse implications of any bouts of disease or illness. Need to see COVID as not exceptional. Corollary is CARICOM, having ignored health/wellness, sees associated eg NCD risks hit worse
