@MailOnline I preferred it when we compared things to double decker busses, football pitches and Olympic swimming pools. I’m not sure I can visualise half a giraffe.

@MailOnline If it's half the size of a giraffe, that makes it about a gazelle. But you have to figure to add or take away a ferret or two just to make the measurement accurate to within a water vole.
