Don’t like the restrictions ISU announced? Sweet! Just don’t go to the games.
Want to go to football games this fall? Awesome! Just follow the restrictions ISU has put in place.
@MNelson_ISU
I mean you could also say this about any criticism of the team. “Don’t like the coach, players, uniforms, athletic director, etc.... just don’t go to the games!”
@andyflattery
.... that’s correct. It’s called putting your time/money behind your ideals. I’m opposed to Chipotle’s misinformation campaign against agriculture, so I don’t eat there.
@MNelson_ISU
The problem with your approach is that what you do, in a pandemic, implicates the safety of others. If the threat were confined, it would be different, but it isn’t. You have an obligation to your fellow humans.
@IowaRallyYak
His obligation is to keep the athletic department from facing irreparable damage, something Iowa is going through right now. If you are sick, your obligation is to stay home. If you go, your obligation is to follow the rules. It’s pretty simple man. CDC guidelines.
@MNelson_ISU
Matt most of us can't go to the games because we don't have the money to be a doner at the level it will take to get in. I'm not complaining I will happily watch the games from home. At least it Cyclone football time!

@theotherryans
The person who knows better than almost anyone in the county whether or not this is safe has concerns. I think that gives fans every right to be not sure
