THIS. i think many people dont like this painting bc its not figurative art. they think its not art bc it isn't aesthetically pleasant to look at & doesn't portray an identifiable object or person but rather an abstract/idea concept.

im not saying art shouldn't be pretty but it shouldn't be its exclusive goal. art can become a way to discuss controversial topics, such as abstract art n its meaning in this painting's case.
