As much as I love the Stanchion, people don't realize how broken this would be in MP. If yall thought Nornfang from Halo 5 and the Binary Rifle from 4 were stupid OP, you ain't seen this.
The M99 is basically a handheld, recoilless, handheld gauss/MAC Sniper. It would literally-
The Stanchion looks cool and all but I would have killed to see it be an actual weapon in infinite and not just a shop item reskin of the sniper rifle. The game has had only 1 new weapon out of the 3 years it's been out.

Could just make it like the Railgun from Quake 3.
No reticle assistance or anything, purely skill based.
One shots anywhere, makes a loud humming sound, long charge time between shots.
