No, he genuinely believes this.
He's a fucking Tourist who played Halo either when he was a child or when MCC came to PC, listened to the "343 bad" Youtubers, and thinks he's intelligent enough to say what's Halo canon and isnt
@LtCameron88
Halo reaches final campaign mission is cannon. But because thereβs a multiverse whatever you do doesnβt matter because the end is always the same. The TVA made sure of it. πππ»
@LtCameron88
I mean, I get you could play 2 and not really need to play CE to understand the plot, but it quite literally has in the openning cutscene the destroyed installation 04 and a whole trial for the arbiter over the events of CE lmao
@White_Asian55
No, I know. You don't need to technically play any of the games for each Halo game, but th opening of 2 LITERALLY shows us I04, it's ruins, and the destruction of it
@LtCameron88
Nah, he's right. 2 gets a pass because of Joe Staten's decent writing, but the campaign itself is dogshit and the game plays nothing and lookd nothing like CE.
Without Bungie calling it Halo, you would never think its a continuation to CE.
@LtCameron88
I think you're getting overly angry at his philosophical point. He's not specifically ragging on Halo here.
He's saying that Halo 2's story wasn't in mind when Halo CE was made. Halo CE works in a vacuum without 2, but 2 does not work without CE.
