That's a play caller issue. If your coordinator isn't putting guys in position to maximize their skills, then he isn't doing his job.

Pete Carroll just now talked at length about his offense and what needs to change. One of the things he mentioned he was maximizing their guys and their personalities. Pete was then asked to clarify what "maximizing" their guys looks like. Here's Pete's answer:

@Locked_Seahawks There’s a lot of talent on the roster. It’s better than last season. I think the O talent is the highest they’ve had since Marshawn and Doug were taking snaps. When you see the highs and lows from week to week and even from quarter to quarter, that leads you to what?

@Locked_Seahawks I wondered why he was hired on the day he was announced. He had never been an offensive coordinator at any level, including high school.
