For all the skeptics, from a fellow doubter: totality is definitely a remarkable experience. Completely different from even a 90%. Very lucky to have been able to view from home; I could hear cheers coming from every direction. And fireworks, of course; it's Indiana!

Did anyone else experience a huge uptick in annoying small flying insects just before and during?

@LiterateIndy We traveled to see the 2017 one as a gift to my spouse. I didn’t really know ow what to expect and it was a very emotional experience for me. It brought tears to my eyes.

@LiterateIndy Heck the final 1-2 mins before totality until totality were incredibly different. I would never have guessed it but it’s completely different in totality and jaw dropping experience. Impossible to describe the amazing beauty. I’ll try to go again some day

@LiterateIndy I heard some booms too but not as many as I expected. People in my neighborhood will take any chance to blow them off.

@LiterateIndy It was INCREDIBLE. I almost cried. My normally stoic dad kept saying, "WOW." We all agreed it was one of the coolest thing we have ever seen. And there were definitely fireworks. 🤣

@LiterateIndy Here in Muncie, IN the temp dropped 8° during totality. It was an amazing experience. Frogs chirped. Otherwise silence in the dark in the middle of a sunny day. Incredible.
