For all the skeptics, from a fellow doubter: totality is definitely a remarkable experience. Completely different from even a 90%.
Very lucky to have been able to view from home; I could hear cheers coming from every direction. And fireworks, of course; it's Indiana!

Indeed! We had over 3 minutes of totality and the effing corona was amazing! You could even see two solar flares during that time! Wowser!

We traveled to see the 2017 one as a gift to my spouse. I didn’t really know ow what to expect and it was a very emotional experience for me. It brought tears to my eyes.

Heck the final 1-2 mins before totality until totality were incredibly different. I would never have guessed it but it’s completely different in totality and jaw dropping experience. Impossible to describe the amazing beauty. I’ll try to go again some day

It was INCREDIBLE. I almost cried. My normally stoic dad kept saying, "WOW." We all agreed it was one of the coolest thing we have ever seen. And there were definitely fireworks. 🤣

Here in Muncie, IN the temp dropped 8° during totality. It was an amazing experience. Frogs chirped. Otherwise silence in the dark in the middle of a sunny day. Incredible.
