Clearly these people never watched the original series run. When was it established he was nonbinary, before or after he was left for dead? And I doubt this was brought up when Morph tried to kill his former teammates under Mr. Sinister's control.

Dealing with being left for dead by the X-men (people he considered family)
Then being brainwashed by Sinister
Healing from all that trauma

Morph ain’t even from the comics. A version of Morph was put into the comics later. Also, they’re not selling the cartoon based on that.

Umm, it’s not to “sell” a cartoon. They’ve already done that with the nostalgia factor. But ANYWAY, it makes sense for Morph to be non-binary because he’s a shapeshifter.
Also, non-binary isn’t a sexuality. (1/2)
