When I picked the undergrad and grad colleges I went to, the fact they were majority white didn’t bother nor deter me. My main concern was their academics and how their graduates fared in the workforce.
This bigotry of low expectations is a disgrace.

I’m with you, mi Reina. Cubana here who went to N.Y.U. & Harvard & learned a lot from my White classmates.
Even married one of them.

In college I was disheartened to hear, from several female students majoring in STEM tracks, that they felt compelled to change their majors because STEM classes were packed full of male students. They didn't feel they had a place in STEM. Those stories left me with a much deeper…
