Well said — General. Of the countries in the world, only Pakistan seems to enjoy its marriage -of- convenience w/ the TLBN.

It happened to the British, the Russians and eventually the US. Opportunities to change things were missed early on. Continuing a violent conflict with no end wasn’t a viable option.
@LTGHRMcMaster
Agreed that TB hasn't changed, but the US have higher priorities now (i.e. China) & can now handle terrorism quite well with better homeland sec. Also, should the US solve all human rights problem in the world? It simply can't afford to
@LTGHRMcMaster
I just think it's genuinely unfair to expect ambitious complex solutions coming from a tired, and in effect a geriatric US presidency.
Also rather than debate whether US should (or not) solve world problems, it would help the world a lot more if the US would NOT create problems!

I’ve had nightmares for a long time-pretty much since I remember. Nightmares about being killed or witnessing other getting killed. But since I’ve left Kabul it increases. I’m even scared to sleep. This is what war does to ppl. It damages ur mental health. Ur wounds never heals.
