"Few people intend to drive drunk," Brauchler said. "You don't accidentally steal. You don't steal because you're drunk. And please stop the garbage narrative I'm stealing to feed my kids. No one does that. That's not real."
“The caucus doesn’t convene unless I say it convenes,” Minority Leader Lynch told
@GeorgeBrauchler
this morning. Lynch also said that a vote of no confidence would not require him to step down as leader.

“It takes guts to finally own up to something and finally come forward,”

told

, a former prosecutor, argued that drunk driving was less disqualifying for a politician than shoplifting because driving drunk doesn't necessarily involve "bad motive or ill will." (note the glaring socioeconomic implication, as well)

Driving drunk shows a lack of responsibility and concern for others. People know when they are too drunk to drive, and some call a friend, or if possible call a taxi. And some people, like
@LynchForCO
drive anyway, risking their own lives and the lives of others.

If you know you've had too much to drink and get behind the wheel of a car, then you are intending to drive drunk. But Republicans always have a excuse for why their bad behavior isn't in fact bad.

Mr Lynch's actions took a trooper off of the road for at least 2 hours. Also, Mr Lynch actions made the trooper think this was going to be a dangerous stop. More dangerous than usual

You must have run out of characters to put what I said immediately before the quote you listed. The part where I said DUI was “incredibly dangerous” and that “I believe it is like firing a gun in the front yard of your house into the air,..”
Why did you omit that?
