Stopped by the High Steel Bridge yesterday and took this off the side of the bridge. I start shaking just thinking about it!!! It is SO high up there.

@KristinLRaught I want to go. But husband doesn’t like heights.

@LesleyJWilliams Me either! This one is okay with rails on both sides. I just get my center of gravity real low when I walk across it. It's not a steep drive up or anything and no drop-offs or scary stuff along the way, just a narrow bridge and you can turn around instead of driving over it.

@KristinLRaught Next time you're up in that area, you should check out Spider Lake - it's about 20 minutes up the road from where you turn right off the mainline toward the steel bridge. Very scenic and just a short walk off the road.

@KristinLRaught So like 100ft drop? I`m not afraid of heights, but have looked over a few really high drop offs though.

@KristinLRaught I went there for the first time last spring. Gorgeous!. Then spent a few hours touring the forest roads. Worth the drive.

@waterwose Oh, cool! Yeah, I like going out there for sure. It's just far enough away, but not so far that you have to stay overnight.

@KristinLRaught FR 23 runs all the way through to Wynoochee. It's a worthwhile drive.

@KristinLRaught Took my dog on that two summers ago to see what he would do. He was fine until he looked down. Then totally paralyzed. HD to carry him back to my truck. LOL

@DeepSeaZ Crazy! I took Yobe but I think he was in full on ADHD mode bc he didn't seem to notice. That's crazy you had to carry him! Awe, that sounds too cute
