This is the most honest take about the vtuber "community" I have seent
Seething vtweeters ready to attack anyone in the hopes of their crumb of clout.
If you don't like how someone speaks, just don't interact with them, going on a crusade against them is schizo behavior
@uglybagstard
I will never forget Saerinu, all this mans did was dedicate his time to trying to help small vtubers and he got run out of the community when he said "league of legends players are retards"
@KirscheVerstahl
Those responses from those seething vtweeters -just amazing how they jumped on-board. Give them a little attention and BAM! they go on a rant and shift the attention to themselves. One of those clowns made it a race thing.
@P1zcOl
that doesn't surprise me. During the Saruei drama there were people saying "Saruei probably doesn't care if she uses an ableist slur because she's French"
like ye, ok good guy, saying retard bad but racism is alright against someone you don't like
@KirscheVerstahl
What's worse is there's vtubers out there trying to be spokes people for the "community" saying shit like "comply or else you are BARRED from vtubing".
I never really identified myself with the vtuber community, at least on Twitter. It's ok to disagree or find something bad too.โฆ
@KirscheVerstahl
It's ironic that the people that prech about the "community" and how friendly it is are typically the most Cliquey people. They have no problem throwing individuals under the bus for the most minor of "misteps".
@KirscheVerstahl
True. Like if you arenโt going to have a meaningful discussion and are just trying to join the dog pile just donโt interact. The thing about the internet is YOU get to choose what content you watch and who you interact with.
@KirscheVerstahl
What I like the most is the hypocrisy as well. No one has said anything over Pippa saying it, yet Vei says it once and suddenly sheโs trending. Iโm not gonna say using it is right, but why have a moral outrage now?
