Recently, my adventurous sibling & I decided on a train trip šš.
We booked our tickets at the TAZARA main office, [quite a lot of shenanigans but thatās a story for another day.]
Hereās a short account of our trip to Mbeya:

10am:
As the punctual people we are, we were at the station 3 hours before boarding time but alas! they announced our train would be delayed for 3 more hours due to repairsš¤£
Thereās no decent cafe in the station so we went to Mkuki Mall to pass time & because we were hungry.
03:30pm:
We started boarding and the safari started at 04:15pm. We got settled in our cabin with 2 other passengers & were now trying to get used to the sound of the train in the tracks & the rocking motion (unfiltered evidence attached, Frame 4)š¤£
Very soon it was dark & we were trying to sleep after chatting with our fellow cabin members. Weād wake up to the loud train whistle as it approached the stations. We passed Kisaki, Mangāula, Ifakara, Mngeta during the night.
6am: Mlimba
As you guessed, we were both up very early trying to catch the sunrise & what notš¤£ as we arrived at Mlimba (500kms from TAZARA & about 13 hours now). It was time to service the train locomotive as we waited.

Not at the moment pls but I will give you a tip that you should maybe book your ticket 2 weeks prior and make sure you go to the station at TAZARA.
