Super interesting: “This update introduces a new site-wide signal ... Our systems automatically identify content that seems to have little value, low-added value or is otherwise not particularly helpful to those doing searches.”
Lots of low-value content = negative domain signal
“our testing has found it will especially improve results related to online education, as well as arts and entertainment, shopping and tech-related content.”

Google has ranked spam and allowed links within spam to influence rankings since FOREVER. I doubt all of a sudden, in the dawn of AI content, they're able to detect it. It's PR if you ask me...

I’m curious about topics, because topics can be broad or niche:
High level: Pets
⬇️ level: Dogs
⬇️ level: Dog play
⬇️ level: Dog toys
⬇️ level: Dog toys for small dogs
Are you going to be penalized for having a broad pet website, covering dogs, cats, hampsters, snakes, etc.?
