You were both so young, neither of you experienced the loss of a charismatic leader by 1968? Really? Because JFK had died in 1962. I'm sure many were able to relate to MLK's passing based on how they felt when JFK had passed. It shouldn't be so hard to relate to fellow humans.

Thank you for sharing that. Recognizing and being able to pick up on the feelings of the people around you is an important & valuable skill that does a lot of good if ppl just apply it to their lives in a way that has an impact for the better such as you have.
