Giannis said sometimes it’s hard in the moment to tell you aren’t playing hard enough. He said his older brother rarely contacts him after games but yesterday he told him, “Giannis, you have to play harder.”
He said the truth is someone’s hard to hear but he was right.

The truth was pretty obvious to all who were in attendance on Sunday, and then some. Giannis wasn’t the only guilty party either.

Maybe on defense and hustling for rebounds but other than that he played out of control and selfish offensively instead of passing to open teammates when there are three or four guys in him

I hope "play harder" really means be in control, and dictate the style and pace, rather than letting the celtics take control of the style of play on both ends of the court.

He hit those 3's but it didn't matter. Boston collapsed on him every time. If the rest of the team shoots 30% on open looks they are done. Bledsoe was scared to take an open shot at the free throw line for Christ's sake
