Very happy to see a guy like Anthony Edwards make a big decision like this (to any school for that matter). Life has not dealt an easy deck of cards to work with. He's overcome a lot to be at the point he is now. Hard to not be happy for him. Heck of a journey.

Think about this for a second... Anthony Edwards, coming out of HS, is the most impactful commit for the Dawgs in 40 years. Dominique Wilkins came to Athens in 1979.

Louis Williams, who is the biggest prep star this state has ever seen, committed for the 2005 class but never went to college. LouWill was a monster story when pledged.

Different day now in college hoops. I think it is fair to say Edwards will have a short stay in the Athens zip code before leaving for the land of Adam Silver. What kind of impact can one freshman make in a year? That's the biggest story and a monster expectation.
