@Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance “Hillary Clinton sold 20% of our Uranium to Russia.” Mythologies like this are dangerous, because even thinking people have no idea what’s true and what’s not. It’s also a deliberate control technique ...

I know facts don't matter in these matters, but Kurennoy should know that I was at the White House in 2009-2010, not State or embassy Moscow. "Russian General Prosecutor's Office proposes to interrogate US ex-envoy McFaul over Browder case:"

@Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance It’s how Soviet-style disinformation works. It is meant to confuse and make you question what’s true and not true. It blurs the lines between reality and non-reality. It what Trump does on a nearly daily basis. It’s a control technique.

@JumpintraxJack @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance How do you break through to mostly well intentioned Americans that have invested in & are now, devout Trump loyalist? They appear more vehemently supporters for Trump & his “spin”. This is disturbing & troubling. He’s targeted folks who are angry at govt & in hard economic times.

@Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance That’s a great question. I’m not sure how to answer it because his supporters’ commitment has been shrouded with an elaborate mythology stocked with numerous unverifiable things—like “Deep State,” and “DNC collusion with Russia” to frame the GOP. There’s more ...

@Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance ... on their agenda. It’s all right out of the Soviet disinformation playbook. It’s not meant as much to feed you false information as to confuse you about what’s actually true. What can we do? ALWAYS BE ACCURATE AND TRUTHFUL, and if we make a mistake about it, own it and fix it.

@JumpintraxJack @Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance And Putin used a deliberate control technique on Trump. Mention someone gave money to Hillary and you'll have his complete attention even if he's clueless as to who Browder is.

@Louise_FixedIt @Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance Exactly. It doesn’t even matter than the Russian Foreign Min walked back the stated amount from $400M to $400K the next day. (Browder said it was ZERO.) The point is that it introduces doubt about Clinton. Doesn’t matter that it isn’t true. He’ll now just keep repeating it.

@JumpintraxJack @Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance I would like to think that most intelligent people will seek out the truth via "snopes" or other "truth verifying" agencies. I know that means taking time to do some research, one can hope they will.

@AustinBiolady @Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance They *should*, but don’t. They simply swallow the pablum their “news” outlets feed them. One of the key features of disinformation is that it is usually intended to be *unverifiable*, or at the least, difficult to verify. Like the UraniumOne deal. Lots of moving parts.

@JumpintraxJack @Gracenigma1 @Clancy_Dew @McFaul @MalcolmNance She was one of several to help Russia acquire the uranium. Obama was pushing for it. And now they have the gall to say that President Trump is going easy on Putin. You guys should get your story straight.
