As a veteran, I find it way more disrespectful that someone lies to the troops about getting a 10% pay raise than someone taking a knee to protest police brutality.

What worries me is these guys obviously don’t know how much they get paid and can’t work out whether or not they have had a pay rise. You ask someone in civvy street - bet they could tell you date and amount right off the bat

I think the most effective way to protest police brutality is by supporting reform candidates for prosecutor, as happened in St Louis County, MO.
