Some people thought
#Bashir
was the problem in
#Sudan
& that riots were the best solution. Now the country has been drawn into endless coups & civil unrest that may result in total state breakdown. Any country that chooses to follow US propaganda about democracy gets destroyed.
@JonahRuhima
The USA readily agitates for "democratic" change in "autocracies" simply because the destruction is never on its soil. It loses nothing in the ensuing chaos. While the citizens of the "auticracies" get stuck with all the destruction. "Clever" way to beat potential competition.

No you are mistaken. African leaders wanting to create presidential monarchs out of elective politics while holding their nations at ransom is the recipe for this perpetual unrest. You should instead ask african leaders to always listen to the voices and choices of their people.

Sudan is in Russia. Chinese area of influence not the Wests. Russia has/had done a deal to Build a large Russian Naval Base on Sudanese Coast. Russia's Lavrov visited Sudan in Feb 2023.

And those people were and are still right, Bashir was a genocidal tyrant. Coups, civil war and actual total state destruction all happened. Alone, he led 2 Coups ,waged the 2nd Sudanese civil war, committed genocide against 3M people in Dafur. Sudanese IS WAY better without him.
@JonahRuhima
I am a Sudanese citizen and as such i strongly urge you to get your facts straight before speaking about my country. Bashirs rule was an Islamic fundamentalist regime that lasted 30 years which destroyed the country. The people have had enough.
@JonahRuhima
It sounds like you’re suggesting that instead of trying to get better leadership it’s better for citizens to just continue to be oppressed
