@JohnHays @DomTheBombYT What I think is going to happen, is that Peter's Symbiote suits and abilities will carry over to the open world, post-story, and you will be able to choose whether you would like to play as Peter with or without the Symbiote, freely at will. I can see this. I imagine it.

@VCPrimal @DomTheBombYT I’m guessing the mechanical arms he apparently gets at some point will replace the symbiote abilities. I think the symbiote will become Venom, so it won’t make sense for Peter to ever use it again after that.

@JohnHays @DomTheBombYT I think the ability will be the same for both suits but when used while in Symbiote will buff those skills. Ex: AoE damage, Multi Webs, Strong Webs, New Animation etc.

@JohnHays @DomTheBombYT After you get the symbiote during the story i assume you’ll be able to use it in the story missions for however long he keeps it, but also you’ll be able to use it in the open world and side quests forever

@JohnHays @DomTheBombYT Web of shadows could also be an example on how to do it. During the first fight, the symbiote infected peter on ao you could switch which version to use at a push of a button. Venom was still a villain in the story.

@JohnHays @DomTheBombYT They might do it where it has its own little mini skill tree and anytime you put on the symbiote suit it switches to that one. Could have it for a portion of the game, lock it off when ever he gets rid of the symbiote and then after the story is finished it unlocks again.
