The sin of Greed has no redeeming qualities. Greed is a toxic sin or trait to have, that’s why the ring of Greed is the filthy, unsafe and stuffed with crime.
Greed was always going to be a shitty sin have as there is no positive that comes with it.

That's part if the fun of using religion and mythology in fiction though - putting your own spin on it.
Disney's Hercules wasn't really accurate to the Greek myths, but it's still fun in its own right.
