@shawngorham I hear this story from trades all the time. Assuming he’s collecting on time (most collect at an average of 83 days). I usually heard: starting too many new jobs at once (lots of upfront payables), big job went bad and playing catch up, or taking too much cash out of the biz.

Just had a call with my Plumber - he has $100 in his bank account and payroll tomorrow Runs 10 (brand new) vans and about 15 total guys He charges above market rates and is always busy 10+yr in business What do you think hes doing wrong? (I have a pretty good idea)

@JerimiahLee @shawngorham Residential? I've got a plumber in my house now. I'm pretty sure if I don't pay him as he leaves, he will disconnect everything he just installed and take it with him.
