My childhood dog died this morning.
Kelee (named after the Hebrew word for "dog") lived 17 long and healthy years.
Thanks to the pandemic, I haven't been home in over a year... and I'm heartbroken.

I'm so sorry, Jenna. We don't deserve dogs and the love they share with us. How amazing that Kelee was around for 17 years. Losing a dog is very painful. Sending your family lots of good thoughts.

Kelee was a family member. Our dogs and cats get us through tough times and give us joy. The only thing that's got me through the death of my pets, is to get another furry friend to love.

While you can’t overcome the pain and grief of your dog’s death, you can heal your heart. You’ll always remember how much you loved your dog, and you’ll eventually start to remember your furry friend with fondness and nostalgia instead of the sharp pain of grief.
