@Jazzie654 A old friend used to have a ‘79 Ford Bronco built for deep water. All electronics were raised, air intake was through a snorkel at roof-level, exhaust also raised, cooling fan switched off on-demand. Amazing to watch in action!

@Jazzie654 The dangers of driving thru flood water with zero view of the ground are pretty high, not to mention the damage the wave created by it going at speed could breach a flood defence to someones house.

@Jazzie654 It’s because the engine is in the back and as long as the bus keeps moving at even speed, the engine won’t flood. Volkswagen Beetles could do this back in the day. They were the only cars that could.
