The Red Balloon (1957): 7-7.5/10
Balloons in late 50s France are possessed by some unholy entity that causes them to think and move on their own and one little boy has the power to control them
Avatar: The Last Airbender Book One (Rewatch): 8-8.5/10
Definitely more of a episodic season compared to the later two, but still very enjoyable throughout with a few episodes here being amongst the best in the series. I really, really hope that Netflix doesn't butcher this.
Stand by Me (1986): 8.5-9/10
Really good coming-of-age story, four boys experience the last moments of their youth and come to terms with dysfunctional/abusive childhood as they journey to find a dead body. The body represents the very death of their youth and their maturity
Caught up to Kagurabachi now and it definitely beat the "meme series" allegations in the sense that while it's still cliche and it has tropes that other manga does better, there's definitely a lot of potential in the series and the author has been slowly hiting his stride.
All that Heaven Allows (1955): 6-7/10
This movie feels more like a contemporary piece than anything with it kinda critiquing societal roles at the time and having women express themselves openly, which is great, but as a modern day viewer, it just feels like watching->
Spider-Man: The Other — 8-8.5/10
A great story centered around the general conclusion of the whole "Man vs Spider" theme that JMS created in his run along with an interesting look at how Peter's death would most affect his loved ones and everyone around him
The Black Album by Jay-Z: 9/10
Favorite Songs: Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Encore, December 4th, Change Clothes, What More Can I Say, Moment of Clarity, Lucifer
Oppenheimer (2023): 9/10
Powerful use of imagery via practical effects and scene coloration along with realistic and engaging performances come together to tell a cautionary tale of a world-destroying weapon and the guilt-ridden scientist who engineered it
Invincible Season 2 Episode 5
Yeah, these niggas came in swinging bruh, I kid you not, this is a contender for the best episode in the season so far along with Episode 4. Biggest highlight for sure was Guardians vs Lizard League, they made that shit better than the comics
Invincible Season 2: 9/10
Forgot to make updates for the rest of the episodes, but overall, this is my favorite season of Invincible so far. It doesn't peak as high as Season 1's finale, but each episode feels so consistently better than the previous ones and I really like how->

Knuckles (TV Series): 6/10
While there are some redeeming qualities about this show like Knuckles and Wade's relationship, the fight scenes, and Wade standing up to his absent father, this show feels so divorced from anything Sonic-y with a lot of humor that's very hot or miss

Bad Boys Ride or Die: 9/10
They could never make me hate you Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Somehow even better than the last movie, a perfect blend of action and comedy. Multiple moments in the film where I was either crying from laughter or on the edge of my seat in suspense
