Last year I became the most successful person in the history of my family. That’s a lot. But here’s the real shit of it for you fellow dreamers: they have no idea what it’s like to be me, so it’s up to me to set new boundaries and expectations. I have to teach them as I learn.

@JasFly As far as STEM careers are concerned, I deal with lack of Black community understanding of the gold mine my career path offers. The pushback / "meh" attitude makes me so sad.
