Frumka Płotnicka and other leaders of the uprising, who also had fake passports from Berne: Kożuch brothers and Cwi Brandes, decided not to use the documents and not to rescue themselves. They died fighting the Germans in August 1943.

Vice-Consul Konstanty Rokicki, who forged such documents for some 4,000 - 5,000 people, died in poverty in @stadtluzern in 1958. In 2019, he was recognized by @yadvashem as Righteous Among The Nations. 3/4

The whole operation by @PLinSwitzerland @WorldJewishCong and Agudat, under the protection of Ambassador Aleksander Ładoś, helped rescue thousands of Jews from Poland, Germany, Netherlands and a dozen of other European countries. Frumka's passport was found at Lohamei Hagetaot.4/4
