The girl grieving over the dead body of her sister killed in a German raid on a civilian outskirts of Warsaw in 1939, has just passed away.
Kazimiera Mika, war survivor, was 93.
The picture became one of the symbols of German genocide committed against the people of Poland.

I have always remembered this photo some 60+ years on. My Father fought the Nazis, I fought the Communists. Bless you Kazimiera and a good rest. And long live a Free Poland!
