@SayeedaWarsi
Stop trying to stir up trouble for the Michaela Community school and its staff.
We see you and we are sick and tired of it.
You want to live in an Islamic state? Go and find one elsewhere because Britain is not it and never will be.
British Values:
Democracy
Rule of law…
Are State schools really secular spaces or are they only as secular as the headteacher wants it to be?
Is this much power in one individual’s hands dangerous and how does it account for personal prejudice?
The Muslim prayer ban, Irans orchestrated theatre, the Sydney stabbings…
@martinpaul
@SayeedaWarsi
Exactly so. Tolerance tends to be given freely; respect costs more to earn.
In Britain, we all tolerate the practise of different faiths or the practise of no faith, so long as they are all practised within the law.
Respecting any of those faiths is an entirely different…

So British values requires no praying - we need to close all churches in case somebody gets in one and has a sneaky prayer LOL- of all the things to ban - praying -

@SayeedaWarsi
Hey Jacky, if you do any of the following; Use Maths, drink coffee, or listen to music with guitars (tar is a Persian word meaning 'string') You're doing something that evolved predominantly in Muslim societies.
@JackyHolyoake
@SayeedaWarsi
There are plenty of Muslim schools she can attend if her religion is so important to her and her parents. Stop forcing your religion on others

Jacky. I'm a white Brit (btw) and the last country I want to live in is the type you seem to be advocating for. We have less racism in the UK than in places like France PRECISELY BECAUSE we (normally) respect, celebrate and value all cultures. I was disgusted by this ruling.

@SayeedaWarsi
Tbh, I’m quite surprised at the court ruling. I thought the ECHR had many protections, as does Equality Act 2010. Never thought a school could ignore them & not break the law. There must have been more to the case than what I have read so far.

@SayeedaWarsi
What democracy? An unelected PM has an.unelected Monarch, appoint an ExPM as a Lord who is then made an unelectd Foreign Secretary.
Is that the British value of democracy?
If students want to pray at lunchtime where is the British vaue of indivdual liberty when not allowed?
@JackyHolyoake
@SayeedaWarsi
After being keen kick beaten spat and verbally abused for most of my school years because my parents couldn't find 'elsewhere', i.e. another country to go to, decades on, there are still vile hate-filled racists like you in the UK, fortunately, rarer by the day.
@JackyHolyoake
@SayeedaWarsi
Questions on secularism are perfectly understandable. Quiet spaces for non Christian religions (and not just Muslims) are very common both in schools and businesses. It’s people like you who are the problem here.
@JackyHolyoake
@SayeedaWarsi
You literally just shot your own foot there. 'tolerance and respect' how did you jump from individual personal prayer to "Islamic State" I think you have the issue with intolerance not them.
