@JReinerMD @nytimes Conclusion by NYT with its newly minted MD! Good to know that NYT doesn’t know what it doesn’t know.

@JReinerMD @nytimes Wait they moved fever down to only "sometimes" for Covid? So...all these places monitoring temps to let people in...could be missing tons of cases? And we should be home testing even if there's no fever??? And they tell us NOW? Great.

@JReinerMD @nytimes Now that was funny. My wife and I have been down with high fevers for a couple of days. Fully vaxed, negative covid test (multiple), so now we know we have... something.

@JReinerMD @nytimes I have a cold. I don't need a chart to tell me I'm sick. I don't have convid, just a basic summer cold. Keep your chart and propaganda!

@JReinerMD @nycsouthpaw @nytimes Wait, the cold & RSV are different things? I swear they just renamed it so people would take it more seriously. I have two kids under 7 I’m going to get them all anyways

@JReinerMD Yeah. When I had COVID, I basically threw random darts at this chart. 🤷🏻‍♂️ High fever (~104°F), vomiting, head+muscle aches, runny nose, sore throat. All in 36 hours. But NO loss of taste/smell, ALMOST NO cough. Only symptom that lingered beyond 3 days was the runny nose.

@JReinerMD @Lacus09 @nytimes All the symptoms overlap. So, basically, unless u test yourself, it could be any of them. 🫤🤔

@JReinerMD @nytimes I HATE this chart. It makes testing to confirm even less likely. Just one more justifier for the ‘just a cold’ crowd.

@JReinerMD @nytimes Yes and for most of us, there’s absolutely no point to knowing which kind of cold you have.

@JReinerMD @nytimes I ended up taking a PCR in Oct worried it was Covid. Nope. Ended up being pertussis. The cough wouldn't go away and was so bad it triggered cough based asthma. Now I get the joys of an inhaler. Fun times. Would have preferred the flu I think. 🤦‍♀️
