That sucks for him in this particular moment. But on the bright side, it’s good that she was honest instead of agreeing to it solely based on the pressure of the situation. They can either work through it or he can move on.

She should have said yes and them quietly call it off the next week and let him know she didnt want to embarrass him on tv.
