@JHHolliday3 CANโ€™T fault DEMOCRATs for NOT supporting REPUBLICAN led efforts to Emancipate slaves, pass right 2vote & citizenship for freed slaves โ€ฆ . DEMOCRATS were wayyy 2busy founding the KKK & fighting REPUBLICAN sponsored โ€˜KKK Act of 1871โ€™ authorizing militia to fight against it! ๐Ÿ™„

@AtE6000 Liberal revisionist history to make you feel better because the thought of you being a generational racist through time makes you uncomfortable in your own skin. But the facts are the facts, you're on the wrong side of history. Democrats fought to keep slavery and formed the KKK

@sharlaloberg If it makes you feel better... but you need to stop trying to explain away the facts as they exist. The Democrat's then and now, consciously enslave the Black man. The Civil War, this vote and today's EBT/Welfare just illustrates the lengths they would to keep them slaves.

@JHHolliday3 The current edition of the @GOP would rescind the 13th, 14th, & 15th Amendments. They'd reconstitute the confederacy if they could.

@Bellerose8227 @GOP Wow it really does hurt knowing you can't shake the knowledge you support the party of oppression and racism. That your party fought to keep the slaves, you voted down every amendments to end the unjust treatment of blacks and now you help keep them on the plantation of welfare.

@JHHolliday3 The current party platform has drifted quite a ways from thisโ€ฆ Itโ€™d be nice if they actually worked their way back and not brag about accomplishments in past centuriesโ€ฆ

@JHHolliday3 The party of Abe Lincoln doesn't represent anything Republicans stand for at all. Stop claiming him, as ur party ideology actually is democratic based if we compare the time periods. Ur grossly misinformed, or just grifting

@JHHolliday3 And also remember that until the early 1930's Republicans were liberals and Democrats were conservative. So conservatives have always been against equality and liberals have always been for it.
