Being a lawyer has taught me to see problems from other people’s perspectives—something that many of our

alumni can attest to themselves. In

magazine’s newest issue, you’ll find many of their stories and more. I hope you’ll join me in reading them.
Not even one.
"As it was made clear with the travesty committed against Judge Hector LaSalle's nomination – no Latinos need apply when it comes to the top position in the state’s judiciary. Mission accomplished," Latinos for LaSalle said in a statement.
It’s hard to sum up into words what these last couple of weeks have meant to me. I had the time of my life representing that USA on my chest! The energy was electric and made the WBC a moment I’ll always cherish. So thank you all so much. It was an honor to be your captain. 🫡🇺🇸
We lost Polito Vega, our Radio Salsa ‘King’. For a year, in 1990, while I worked at the radio stations, I had the privilege to see him every day in his iconic office & then for years, he was part of

Trump says Russia is not a threat, our greatest threat is our American representatives, we need to reevaluate the purpose of NATO, and most of the people in the State Dept, DOD and Intel Services need to be fired so he can put the right people in.
What a travesty. Over three decades in prison, and a 400 year sentence, for a crime he didn't commit. We continue to see exonerations of people convicted of things they never did. When do we realize that it's time to end the death penalty?
A 400-year sentence. Sidney Holmes was wrongly convicted of armed robbery in 1989 and was sentenced to 400 years in prison — despite NO evidence of him committing the crime. Absolutely heartbreaking… thankfully, 34 years later Holmes is finally free!
