@IndiesAbout I was in a big bookstore last week (not an indie) it was pretty quiet for the size of it, staff passed without asking if I was looking for anything in particular, not one said hello!! In our indie we’ll chat and give recs, you can browse in peace. But we always say hello!!

@IndiesAbout I come from time when you could do your weekly food shop in one small town. Sady that’s all gone, but I still support my local indies whoever they are, and when I can. Indies are the heart of any community, lose them, you lose your town.
